BYOD: Advantages vs. Disadvantages

BYOD, or bring your own device, is a policy in which companies allow employees to use their personal mobile devices (laptop, smartphone, tablet, etc.) in a work environment to access company resources such as email, file servers, databases, networks, etc.


BOYD: your employer’s Policy?

In January 2013, the Future of Work campaign was launched, profiling Canadian businesses that are using technology to gain a competitive advantage and transform how they operate. BOYD, Bring Your Own Device, meaning to use personal device for professional usage.
