Arçelik wins 2012 Turkish Innovation award
Arçelik A.Ş., the strategic partner of the Turkish Innovation Week organized by Turkish Exporters Assembly (TEA) for the first time at Istanbul on 6-8 December 2012, has been granted “The Most Innovative Turkish Company” award by Turkish Exporters Assembly.
Levent Çakıroğlu, President of Koç Holding Durable Goods Group and Arçelik A.Ş. General Manager received the award from Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Speaking at the opening of the Innovation Week, Çakıroğlu expressed his pleasure for receiving this award.
Çakıroğlu stated that “The Most Innovative Turkish Company” award was also a concrete indication of the appreciation towards the innovation works realized by Arçelik.
Levent Çakıroğlu said: “Our innovation capabilities will determine our position in the future”. In his speech, Çakıroğlu stated that innovation should be part of the culture with all shareholders in order to make the products and services more value added, to enable Turkey to develop and take its place among leading economies of the world.
Expressing that supporting the works to be made in the field of innovation and sustaining investments increasingly was an important responsibility for everyone, Levent Çakıroğlu stated that he believed that the current Innovation Week would help to cover a distance to generalize this conscience and realize the 2023 vision. Çakıroğlu added that innovation capabilities would determine the future position of Turkey.
